It’s becoming more and more important to have a niche. As a result teachers are doing everything from teaching yoga while floating around on paddle boards to teaching goat yoga.
There’s yoga for just about every need:
- Pregnancy
- PTSD
- Addictions & trauma
- Chair yoga for seniors
- Most anything else you can think of!
But if you aren’t already teaching in any of these niches, and if you’re a new yoga teacher, it may feel as if you are late to the party.
The one area that is largely overlooked is college students.
Most teachers assume that this huge population of people can just go to a regular yoga class and have their needs met.
In 2 decades of teaching yoga in a university I’m here to tell you that nothing could be further from the truth.
